Times Square, Manhattan, NY 2011
We avoid Times Square if possible as its usually a sea of tourists and traffic.....never an easy combination!
However, on this occasion it was unavoidable.
As we were heading downtown we inevitably got trapped in a gridlock.
The windscreen was heavy with condensation which created a beautiful "blooming" effect of all the car tail lights and buildings illuminations.
The photo has so much colour which is lost in the black and white drawing but it still maintains the drama and chaos of the busy city.
