Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 2017
We were in Kaula Lumpur shooting the movie " Crazy Rich Asians" staying very near the Petronas Towers.
One evening on a walk to eat nearby we had to jump into a taxi to avoid the ever present thunder storms.
As we passed the twin towers I opened the window and took a photo.
This drawing is made from that image.
I love the way the graphic rigid lines of the architecture is magnified and distorted through the drops of rain.
