Santa Maria di Leuca, Puglia, Italy 2018
In the summer of 2018 after completing work on a movie project called "Artemis Fowl" for Disney Studios we took a much needed break in one of our favourite places, the beautiful region of Puglia in Southern Italy.
The rocky coast line is peppered with amazing grottos which are only accessible by boat.
We spent several hours on a chartered boat "The Leuca Explorer" with the skipper and his wife exploring the amazing coastline.
Cristina loves boats and spent most of the time on the prow enjoying the scenery.
The photo which this drawing is made from was taken in the "Grotta delle Tre Porte" (Grotto of the Three Doors).
It had such a tranquil atmosphere with the waves lapping the sides of the cave and the light reflecting off the water.
